Automatic Notification of User-Defined Events

Event Notification System (ENS) monitors MEDITECH system activity, then automatically notifies users that specific activities have occurred. Each user can decide on which activities are important (e.g. CDS queries, ADT activity, lab results, caretaker messages), but you can also decide how to be notified (via e-mail, pager, printer, and fax). With ENS, critical messages automatically reach their intended audience, while the user concentrates on patient care.
